Our Story
Ocean Blue Orthodontics was founded in 1964 with a simple mission: to create beautiful, healthy smiles for the families of Bay Shore, NY. For over 60 years, we've been privileged to serve this wonderful community, treating multiple generations of families who trust us with their orthodontic care.
What started as a small practice has grown into a state-of-the-art facility, but our commitment to personalized, compassionate care has never changed. We've watched our patients grow from children to parents, and now their children come to us for the same excellent care.
Today, under the leadership of Dr. Mark Weinberg and Dr. Erica Weinberg Gatta, we continue to combine time-tested orthodontic principles with the latest technology to deliver exceptional results.
Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Mark Weinberg
OrthodontistDr. Mark Weinberg has been creating beautiful smiles in Bay Shore for over 40 years. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University College of Dentistry and completed his orthodontic specialty training at Tufts University.
Throughout his career, Dr. Weinberg has remained committed to continuing education, staying at the forefront of orthodontic advances. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and has served on numerous professional boards.
When he's not in the office, Dr. Weinberg enjoys cooking, spending time with his family, and giving back to the Bay Shore community through various charitable initiatives.

Dr. Erica Weinberg Gatta
OrthodontistShe received her Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Gatta then completed her orthodontic residency at University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Gatta is a certified Invisalign® provider. She loves building relationships with her patients and helping them achieve confidence through their smiles.
Outside the office, Dr. Gatta enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants in Long Island, and spending time with her family.
